Description

Although the Toyota Aygo is a small car, it offers a lot more space and comfort than you might first think. It is also one of the most affordable rental cars in Iceland so if budget is your concern then this might be the ideal car to meet your needs. The compact car is economical on petrol and will get you safely around the country. Many of the roads in Iceland are good and you can get around to all the country’s main attractions from the Golden Circle main roads. For places like Reykjavik and heading to the Blue Lagoon, a compact car is more than suitable.

If you are looking for an economical car to get around the cities in Iceland, then the Toyota Aygo is the perfect car. However, if you are planning on heading off-road and to more secluded spots of the country, then you’d be better renting a 4x4 instead. The Toyota Aygo does not fare well off-road so we would advise looking at a different car for this purpose. If you are planning on heading to the wild Westfjords or exploring remote locations, check out our range of 4x4s

Customer Reviews

7 years renting with Sadcars -

New cars since a year or so, excellent condition and service. I really liked the worn down old Rav 4x4's, they fit the Icelandic roads and scenery. :-)

Very good rental service -

VW Up is a small car but perfect for up to 4 people. It consumes very little because it is light, and for the same reason it is easy to park. I had some trouble putting it into reverse but maybe I just do not know the trick. VW Up is very fast, easy to steer, and it is also comfortable.
